It’s official: We’ll be waiting a?little bit longer for one more chapter from the?Stranger Things?saga, but as outlined by Netflix, it’s going to be worth the money. The delay – and also the reason behind it – was formally confirmed over the weekend within the streaming giant’s panel in the Television Critics Association summer press tour, the spot that the company’s VP of original content also discussed what fans should be expecting from?Stranger Things?Season 3.
Via IndieWire, Netflix VP of original content Cindy Holland confirmed the delay of?Stranger Things 3. Unlike Seasons 1 and a pair of, which debuted (appropriately) from the fall, Season 3 won’t arrive until summer 2019. Per Holland, series creators the Duffer brothers are just envious sure our next installment of?Stranger Things?is as much as snuff:
It’s a hand-crafted show. The Duffer Brothers and Shawn Levy been employed hard – and need to deliver something bigger and superior compared to what they did last year. Selecting to just take time to set things right .. It might be a fantastic season and will be well worth the wait.
That doesn’t give us much to take a, but not less than it isn’t bad news. Although we’ll really need to wait several months for the chapter, Netflix has released a terrific sneak peek at Stranger Things 3. The promo showcases a new mall that’s opened in Hawkins, where everyone’s favorite wild hair, Steve (Joe Keery) is going to be working – where he’ll meet a completely new character named Robin (Maya Hawke):
Robin is known as an “alternative girl that’s equal parts sharp and playful.” Again, very little to be, and given the delay, we might not learn far more for just a short while longer.
